HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — Aviagen® North America is pleased to announce that Denis Caron has joined the team as the new Technical Manager for customers in the Quebec and Maritime Provinces of Canada. Reporting to Canadian Regional Business Manager Matt Klassen, Caron will focus on supporting Canadian poultry producers in achieving the highest performance and welfare from their Ross® birds.
Committed to Canadian poultry
Caron brings over 25 years of experience and expertise to his new role. He holds degrees in Animal Science/Poultry Nutrition and Bio-Agronomie from Laval University in Québec. Prior to joining Aviagen, he spent more than two decades at Sollio Agriculture, where he held various positions, including Manager of Poultry Production, Technical Support, Hatchery and Poultry Operations, and Nutrition Specialist. He also shared his knowledge with the academic community as a lecturer in Sustainable Poultry Production at Laval University.
Caron has demonstrated his dedication to the Canadian poultry industry through active involvement in several poultry associations, including the Québec Hatchery Foundation, Québec Avian Diseases Group, Québec Hatching Egg Producers Association, and the Canadian Poultry Producers.
